My English skills in 2009

My best written evidence:

Opinion essay

Nowadays the computers are the newest tecnology and the future of our society. Computer had been the revolution of our society, and thanks of them we can evolutionate our tecnology faster than ever we can imaginate.

Computers has been used for humans recently in the history of humans and we can say that it has been the best invent that never has been created in the world.
Comunication, knowladge, games, ... all tecnologies are based in computer programs that need the informatic to work and it has been an advantagde for us. The best example is the NASA, that this assosiaton of USA has been able to send satelites to space and get information to other planets and the machines are a real enginye of head. If tecnologies hadn't never created the computers, Im sure that we would never be able to do a lot of things.

In the way to comodities of our live, we can say that computers has been very important for us, but maybe the people has abused of that, and has converted them in a bad thing. That isn't true, people use them because maybe they have a problem, or they want to spent they time doing that, but the computers has made to get funny only a littles times and at first of all, to work.

My best oral evidence:

I think that my opinion essay has been one of the bestones I did, because I had some arguments that were very evidences and goods. Respect of my oral presentation, I choosed that one because I don't have any more recently, I think that if in the third term we did a oral presentation I would did better than the rest. So, I've showed you my "best works".

I think that considering my inicial level of English, we should admit that I did a big efford to pass the batxillerat and first of all, to improve my level of English. At first I had the idea to work in a company like that, so I knew what necessities we need to do, for get this job. I know that the company only wants reading English, in high level, but I thought that speech also was interesting so, I tried to improve it too.

FINAL REFLECTION

* Compare the first writtne document you produced (email to teacher) and your last composition.

Well, sincerelly I think that my writting has improved a lot and I'm happy to see how I progressed in this two years in Batxillerat. Maybe the madurity is better than before, it can be a condition of the "years" or time, everyone is in constant improving in that point. then there are other points that has influenced in my writting. For example the blog, the compositions that we did in class... The last writting that I did was in the final exam of the course.

At first I did a lot of mistakes of grammar and propositions, and now I only do about prepositions and there aren't to many mistakes about grammar.

* Compare your first oral presentation and your final oral presentation.

The first oral presentation I did was very diferent than the last oral presentation that I did, my level has improved, but not only to talk in English, but the way I can express myself in English infront of other people. I got nervous at the first oral presentation but in the lastone I was more relaxed, I could express very well( I think) and I answered with a very good fluency the questions of the students. My pronuntation has improved too, because It has been very important to get good mark. My mark hadn't been very high in the two oral presentations but I'm so happy to know that I passed the two (H).

Corrected entry by my teacher

This is my last entry of this term, and I will tal about Carnival. Carnival is a tradition that nowadays has become a big Party for people, but especially for young people that enjoy every hour with the same energy than at the beginning of the party.

This year I've dressed as a tennist player. We enjoyed these last days a lot, we were really happy because it is a big party. At first, everybody went to Roses, and it was fantastic, the next day, we went to Roses again but this time to Chic deluxe, one disco of the zone.

The next week we went to Castello d'Empuries, but I only was there for one day because I had a lot of exams, and I was a little bit tired with the parties! xdd, and this last week, for the maximum kings of the party, was Fortia Carnival, but I wasn't the king of the party, I'm becoming old xd.

Exam writing: Influence of psychologist

Nowadays psychologists have been the best people in our society who have adviced us about personal problems. That's important and I think, necessary for our society. Thought problems can be solved easily or not, but normally they try to safe your mind. I think that they take a lot of working places in our country and that's why we need some studies of the mind before applying for a job, the way of your behaviour is studied too, and the principal goal of the pscycologist, is to make us gain confidence when we have personal problems and don't get crazy about that.
In conclusion, a lot of times we have had problems that have afected us very deeply in our minds and, it's true that maybe the society needs them but I think that if somebody is sad, he could spend this difficult step in his life with the company of one familiar or friend. They are only useful for analizing people, and very hard situations for example a murder, a crazy man, or simply the difficulties of learning a child.

mistake: before + -ing (prepositions are followed by verbs in gerund form)

Dorian Gray

"When we are happy, we are always good. But when we are good, we are not always happy"

"I wish the picture could change, I could stay as I am"

"And there's nothing more important, more valuable than beauty"

I agree with the first sentence because live is very imprevisible, always when we are happy we see the things with a good point of view. Why? Because the psicology of the humans are very imprevisible. Always the happiness pass when the things are going good, or sometimes are going bad, but are good for you. But sometimes when the things are going good, we are not happy, because we feel disapointed with something and we feel sad because our feelings are changing or we need some support for the live. for example: One football player can be very rich and win all, but maybe he needs the support of love, with some girl.

Human Rights

Since the humanity exists, we have always had political survival and coexistence laws. That's natural for humans. But thats evidence if we see animals how they organitzate and how they live. For example if we look heards of lions, we can see that only there are one or two mascles lions, why? because they have fight and the winner have the right to posses this territory and the females. That is an example of
hte jerarqy of the strongest one, but these rights are respected by animals and they accept these things, because since the weakest lion, can win and get the power of the heard.

Why is the winer who posses these things? I think that there are some natural rights in every specie. For that reason, humans have some rights that for example are, every human have the right to have posesions. That means that Humans have some natural rights that are created by the nature, or the live has created them to have a coexistence. For example another right, but thats more important that the normal rights, are the recognition of the other individues. Thats very important because without this law, the rights can exists.

The human rights have been created by humans because they need this recognition, but they need more, they need more things to be in the planet, WE need more rights because our behaviour is very cruel and bad. For that reason every human have the same rights, why? To get survive to other humans, because everyone is bad. If we respect the rights, humans are FREE in some aspects, but they aren't free to disobey the rights. That's a little contradiction, because I think that the human rights are created specially to get free in humanity and not be slaves to other humans.

My conclusion is that human rights have been done for the unique aim to get respect and freedom againts humans, because is the only danger in the nature which can ocasionate more problems to humans.

And scientists in Cambridge have proved that giving an extract of the tropical worm which causes bilharzia to mice can stop them developing type 1 diabetes.
The theory behind all this is that worms and other organisms, through our evolutionary history, developed a role in driving our immune systems.
